Shape Spin

A 3D game for learning solid shapes

  • Ages 3–7
  • Shapes
  • 3D game
  • Plays in the browser

Colorful 3D shapes spin and bob on the screen, and your child taps the one that matches the shape they’re asked for. Because every shape gets a random color, children learn to look at the shape itself.

Play Shape Spin

How to play

  1. Listen to the instruction, or look at the shape clue at the top of the screen.
  2. Tap the matching shape. It does a happy spin when you get it right.
  3. Find five shapes to finish the game and earn stars.

What your child learns

  • Recognizing 3D shapes: cube, sphere, cone, cylinder and pyramid
  • The names of shapes
  • Spatial awareness: seeing solid shapes from different angles

Grows with your child

It begins with two shapes chosen from the cube, sphere and cone. Later rounds add cylinders and pyramids, and show more shapes at once.
