Color games for toddlers

Recognizing and naming colors is one of the first big learning milestones for toddlers, usually between the ages of 2 and 4. Our color games turn that practice into play: short rounds, bright visuals and lots of encouragement.

Each instruction is spoken and shown with a color swatch, so children who can’t read yet can play on their own. The games get gradually harder as your child grows more confident.

What your child learns

  • Recognizing the basic colors: red, yellow, green and blue
  • Learning more colors as they progress: orange, purple, pink and brown
  • Connecting color words to what they see
  • Visual attention and hand–eye coordination

Tips for parents

  • Name colors during everyday moments: “Let’s put on your red shoes.”
  • Play “I spy” with colors on walks or at the table.
  • Keep sessions short. A few rounds a day is plenty.
