Feelings Friends

A gentle game about faces and feelings

  • Ages 2–6
  • Feelings
  • 2D game
  • Plays in the browser

Friendly characters show how they feel, and your child finds the face with the same feeling: happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised or sleepy. Later, little stories ask how a friend might feel when a balloon floats away or a surprise party begins.

How to play

  1. Look at the friend’s face, or listen to the little story.
  2. Tap the face that shows the same feeling.
  3. Name five feelings to finish the game and earn stars.

What your child learns

  • Recognizing feelings in faces
  • Words for feelings: happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised and sleepy
  • Understanding what can cause a feeling
  • Imagining how someone else feels

Grows with your child

It starts with happy, sad and angry faces and two choices. Scared, surprised and sleepy join in as your child learns. At the top levels, little stories show what happened, and your child works out how the friend feels.
